Safety First

YOUR SAFETY IS
OUR PRIORITY

Big Fun Texoma is fully insured and staffed by trained professionals. Every event follows strict safety protocols so your group can focus on having a great time.

Weather Policy

Outdoor inflatables and activities are weather-dependent. We monitor conditions closely and communicate with clients well in advance of any event.

Lightning & Thunderstorms

Event Suspended
  • All activities are immediately suspended at the first sign of lightning or thunder.
  • We follow the 30-30 rule: 30 minutes must pass after the last lightning strike before resuming.
  • Participants will be directed to safe indoor shelter.
  • Events may be rescheduled at no additional charge if weather forces cancellation.

High Winds

Activity Dependent
  • Inflatables are deflated and secured when sustained winds exceed 20 mph.
  • Wind gusts above 25 mph trigger immediate shutdown of all inflatable equipment.
  • Our trained staff continuously monitors wind conditions throughout the event.
  • Ground-based activities like Gaga Ball may continue in moderate wind conditions.

Extreme Heat

Precautions Required
  • Events in temperatures above 95°F require shaded rest areas and water stations.
  • We recommend scheduling summer events in the morning or evening hours.
  • Participants are encouraged to stay hydrated and take regular breaks.
  • Our staff monitors participants for signs of heat exhaustion and will pause activities if needed.

Rain

Case by Case
  • Light drizzle may be manageable for some activities — we assess on a case-by-case basis.
  • Wet inflatables become dangerously slippery and will be deflated in moderate to heavy rain.
  • Foam Machine events are rain-friendly by nature and can typically continue.
  • Clients are notified at least 2 hours before the event if weather requires changes.
Equipment Standards

Inspected. Cleaned. Certified.

Every piece of equipment is inspected before and after each event. We maintain commercial-grade inflatables and gear that meet or exceed industry safety standards.

Pre-Event Inspection

All inflatables and equipment are inspected for tears, leaks, and structural integrity before every single event. Nothing goes up unless it passes our checklist.

Commercial-Grade Equipment

We use commercial-grade inflatables rated for heavy use. Our Bubble Soccer bumper balls, Gaga Pit, and 66' obstacle course are built to industry safety specifications.

Proper Anchoring & Setup

All inflatables are staked and anchored according to manufacturer guidelines. Setup is performed by trained staff who verify stability before participants enter.

Sanitization Between Events

Equipment is cleaned and sanitized between each use. Bubble Soccer bumper balls are wiped down with disinfectant after every event.

Clear Safety Zones

We establish and enforce clear safety perimeters around all equipment. Spectator areas are marked and maintained throughout the event.

Trained Professional On-Site

Every event is staffed by a trained Big Fun Texoma professional who monitors equipment, enforces rules, and is prepared to respond to any safety concern immediately.

Participant Guidelines

Following these guidelines helps ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience. Our on-site professionals will review key rules before each activity begins.

  • Participants must be able to exit the slide independently.
  • Maximum weight limit: 250 lbs per participant.
